YOUNGSTOWN - A Youngstown library that was scheduled to reopen next Monday will now remain closed for another week.

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County's (PLYMC's) East Branch was scheduled to reopen on Monday, January 5 to complete a facility improvement project.

However, that closure has been extended by another week to allow for more time to complete the work. The library is now set to reopen the following Monday, January 12.

PLYMC has 14 branches across Mahoning County, with the East Branch being built in 2009.
