YOUNGSTOWN The City of Youngstown will host the community for its annual Downtown New Year's Eve Fireworks Display on Wednesday.

The fireworks begin at midnight, and free parking will be available at the Covelli Centre for viewing, according to a news release from the city.

The release also states that the Market Street Bridge will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic from 11 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. During this time, the South Avenue bridge will remain open to traffic as usual.

The Covelli Centre is located at 229 E Front St. in Youngstown.
