A delicatessen in Liberty is set to celebrate National Soup Month with its own special soup menu. National Soup Month coincides with the month of January.

Kravitz Deli announced in a news release that it will offer four varieties of house-made soup in addition to several soups that will be available daily, or specially made each week.

Soups offered during the month will be available during dine-in or carry-out, with options available by the cup, pint or quart.

Every day during January, Kravitz will be offering both chicken noodle soup and wedding soup.

A list of "soups of the day" that will be available during the month includes:

  • Monday - Rose's Sweet & Sour Cabbage
  • Tuesday - Stuffed Pepper
  • Wednesday  - Chicken Paprikash
  • Thursday - Matzoh Ball
  • Friday - Clam Chowder

Additionally, each week will feature one special soup variety made by Chef Chris at Kravitz.

During the first week of January, the special soup will be twice-baked potato with bacon. Meanwhile, the second week in January will feature mushroom barley.

The third week in January will feature tomato basil. Finally, the fourth week will feature mish-mosh soup.

"Whether you are seeking comfort food to warm you up on a cold winter day or are looking for lighter meals as part of your resolution to eat healthier, Kravitz Deli has a wide variety of delicious soups to satisfy your craving," as stated in the release.
