Groundhog Craft Beerfest to return to Stambaugh Auditorium for 8th year

YOUNGSTOWN - Fans of craft beer can head to Stambaugh Auditorium on Saturday, January 31, for the Rotary Club of Youngstown's Eighth Annual Groundhog Craft Beerfest.
The event will feature two craft beer tasting sessions, with the first taking place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the second taking place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to all the craft beers, the festival will also feature live entertainment and food. New this year is a mocktail and chocolate bar for guests who want a non-alcoholic experience, as well as local wineries for guests who prefer wine to beer.
Also new this year will be home brewers showcasing their creative talents and a premium lounge featuring rare beers, gourmet charcuterie, brewmaster visits and sponsor exclusives.
Tickets for the event are available now for $60 each. A limited number of preferred tickets is also available for $100 each. A preferred ticket grants access to the premium lounge. You can purchase tickets by calling 330-259-0555 or by clicking here. You can also buy tickets from any Youngstown Rotarian.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Youngstown Rotary Club. Last year's event saw more than 600 attendees and raised about $42,000. This year the Rotary Club aims to raise $50,000 to support local non-profits, youth programs and neighborhood revitalization across the Mahoning Valley.
