Monday night meeting to discuss new walking trail in Warren

WARREN - The Northwest Neighborhood Association will be meeting Monday night to discuss a potential walking trail for the City of Warren.
Katie Phillips, a project manager with MS Consultants, will have a presentation about the trail during Monday night's meeting at 6:30. Phillips tells 21 News this project ties back to $4.3 million in ARP funds for a pedestrian bridge at Perkins Park.
Phillips says the remainder of the funds for the project would go towards a trail that would connect Burbank Park to Bullhead Park.
While it is unclear how much of those funds would be left over, Phillips says the remaining funds would not be enough to cover the whole trail, so she is trying to gauge which sections of the trail would take priority for the community.
Phillips says the project must be completed by October 2026.
