CORTLAND - A senior living center in Cortland has been sold to a new company for $15.4 million.

According to the Trumbull County Auditor's website, Ohio Living Lake Visita in Cortland was purchased by Otterbein Cortland Real Estate LLC for $15,417,924 on Wednesday, December 31.

The facility will now be operated by Ottobein SeniorLife, which announced its acquisition of the facility in a press release on its website on December 8. 

According to the release, the facility was dedicated with 22 acres in 1998, with 14 residents living in customized, single-story villas with access to a clubhouse with a kitchen, exercise room, wrap-up deck and craft area.

Today, the facility offers various senior living options from independent apartments to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care.

Under the new ownership, the facility will continue to retain its current staff and leadership team, but will be supported by Ottobein SeniorLife.
