Multiple departments respond to Mercer County fire
The fire happened at a home on the 100 block of Carrier Road in Transfer, with crews being called out to the fire shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

TRANSFER, Pa. - Multiple fire departments from two different states responded to a house fire in Mercer County Tuesday afternoon.
The fire happened at a home on the 100 block of Carrier Road in Transfer, with crews being called out to the fire shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Crews responded from Transfer, as well as Pymatuning Township and Greenville in Pennsylvania, as well as the Burghill Vernon Fire Department from Trumbull County in Ohio were at the scene.
Burghill Vernon Fire Chief George Snyder told 21 News no one was trapped in the house and that everyone had either escaped or was not home at the time of the fire.
At this time, it is unclear how many people were in the home or if anyone suffered any injuries.
