Lit Youngstown accepting registrations for 2026 Winter Writing Camp
The camp will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC) Main Branch, located at 305 Wick Avenue in Youngstown.

Lit Youngstown is accepting registrations for its ninth annual Winter Writing Camp.
The camp will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC) Main Branch, located at 305 Wick Avenue in Youngstown.
According to the release, the camp is open to both youth and adults, with dedicated tracks for each.
It is noted that children in kindergarten and the first grade must have an adult with them throughout the day, while children under 10-years-old must have an adult in the building.
Adults participating in the camp have the choice of writing memoir, fiction or poetry sessions, and can learn more about publishing.

Registration for the camp is free, with a lunch provided by Aladdin's Eatery. Anyone interested in registering can do so on the Lit Youngstown website under "Writing Camps." Registration will be open until February 1 or until the 100 seats are filled.
