A 20-year-old Warren man admitted guilt on Wednesday to charges resulting from two separate high-speed pursuits with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Jonathan L. Wynn appeared before Judge Cynthia W. Rice in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Wynn also pleaded guilty to having weapons while under disability, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of cocaine.

Prosecutors said Wynn led the same state trooper on two chases within a week. The first incident occurred on Aug. 31, 2025, when speeds exceeded 100 mph. The second chase took place on Sept. 7, 2025. That pursuit reached speeds of 90 mph before troopers stopped Wynn.

Following the second chase, officers found Wynn in possession of cocaine and a 9mm handgun.

Wynn faces a maximum potential sentence of 13 years in prison. Judge Rice ordered a background investigation and will schedule a sentencing hearing later.
