The Eastwood Mall Complex announced on social media that Macy’s Backstage is coming to the department store in Niles.

According to a post on the mall's Facebook page, the new shopping option will be located inside the existing Macy's store. While specific opening dates were not released, a spokesperson for the mall said the store is expected to open sometime in February.

Macy's Backstage is an off-price retail concept that operates within select Macy's department stores. According to the company website, the stores feature a wide range of products, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as home decor, beauty products, pet care items, and gourmet snacks.

The company states that the merchandise mix includes closeouts, overruns, and items specifically made for the Backstage brand.

Shoppers should be aware that policies at Backstage locations differ from the main department store. The company website indicates that Macy's coupons are not accepted on Backstage merchandise. Additionally, items purchased at a Backstage location must be returned to a Backstage counter and cannot be processed at a standard Macy's register or online.

However, customers can still use their Macy's credit cards and earn Star Rewards points on purchases.

This will be the second Macy's Backstage location in the Mahoning Valley. A location is currently operating inside the Macy's at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman.
