One of Liberty Township's busiest business districts was hit with a power outage Friday morning.
According to FirstEnergy, more than 1000 homes and businesses were without electricity after 10:30 a.m.
The outage included an area stretching from Colonial Drive to Mosier Road, including a portion of Belmont Avenue.
By 10:45 a.m., the number of outages had been reduced to 225, and as of 2 p.m., power has been restored to all customers.
Trumbull 911 dispatchers tell 21 News that a tree fell at around 9 a.m., blocking the road and bringing down wires.
Jimmy's Italian Specialties on Belmont Avenue posted a Facebook video explaining to customers how they were trying to cope with the outage.
