NEW CASTLE, Pa. - The New Castle Fire Department was called out to a residential fire on Friday afternoon.

It happened around 3:00 p.m. at a home on West Washington Street in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

New Castle Fire tells 21 News they believe the fire started from a stove in the house. 

It took fire crews nearly 2 hours to put out the blaze, and they say the damage done to the structure was severe and will cost about $50,000 to repair.

Those who live in the home were not there at the time of the fire.

No injuries have been reported.
