WARREN - TNR of Warren hosted a food distribution event on Sunday for those in need of supplying food for their pets.

TNR is a low-cost spay and neutering service that also offers low-cost wellness clinics and professional flea and tick medication.

A volunteer at the event says the need for pet food has been increasing with each distribution.

"We've had about 75 to 80 cars come through. That number is steadily climbing, and more and more people are starting to show up," said CJ Adkins, a TNR of Warren volunteer.

The organization is continuing to host pet food distributions every two weeks starting on Sunday, February 8.
