Boardman Value City Furniture begins going out of business sale

The Value City Furniture store on Boardman-Poland Road is closing its doors permanently.
American Signature Inc., the parent company of the furniture retailer, announced it is winding down operations at all locations. This decision follows a court-supervised process that began in November 2025. While the Boardman store was initially excluded from a list of closures released last month, the company has now confirmed that all Value City Furniture and American Signature Furniture stores will cease operations.
The store located in the Shops at Boardman Park at 443 Boardman-Poland Road has begun a final sale. According to the company, the location will remain open to serve customers only while the current inventory lasts.
Shoppers should be aware that all sales are now final at the location. The retailer stated it is not accepting returns or exchanges on recently purchased products. Additionally, the store is no longer accepting gift cards.
Customers who have placed deposits on items may face complications if the store cannot fulfill the order. The company stated it is prioritizing the fulfillment of orders for products currently in stock. However, refunds are not being offered at the store for unfulfilled orders. Instead, customers with unfilled orders may need to file a claim through the bankruptcy process.
Despite the closures, the company indicated that customers who financed furniture must continue making payments as usual. New warranties are still available for purchase during the liquidation sale.
