Breakfast restaurant opening soon in Liberty Township
A restaurant serving up breakfast is planning to open its doors to the Liberty Township community soon.
Donahue's Family Restaurant has been sharing updates on its Facebook page, outlining the progress the owners have put into the building in getting ready to welcome their first guests.
The new breakfast spot will be located at the former C's Waffles and Plaza Donuts location in the Belmont Plaza.
Owner Darla Donahue says that the restaurant will feature breakfast foods primarily, including:
- Pancakes
- Waffles
- Bacon and eggs
- Toast
- And more
However, Donahue also says that they plan to partner with a local produce vendor to supply freshly grown items to the community.
"This is our first adventure... Both my husband and I own our own business on the side, and so we got that entrepreneurism in us," said Donahue.
Once the restaurant officially opens, Donahue's Family Restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
"The food's here, the help's here. We're ready to roll," said Donahue.
Donahue's Family Restaurant can be found at 3437 Belmont Avenue in Liberty Township.
