Ursuline High School recognized in Advanced Placement Program Honor Roll

YOUNGSTOWN - Ursuline High School has been named to the 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) Program School Honor Roll, earning the bronze distinction.
According to a release, the high school is being recognized for student success, delivering results while broadening participation in its AP programs.
The release states Ursuline has an AP rate of 91%, and 45% of seniors graduated with possible college credit through the AP program.
The high school offers 21 AP courses and will offer two new courses in Business and Personal Finance in the 2026-2027 school year.
"AP gives students the opportunity to engage with college-level work, earn college credit and placement, and build professional career skills they can use no matter what path they choose after high school," said Trevor Packer, the head of the AP program.
According to Ursuline High School Principal Matthew Sammartino, AP programs have been offered at Ursuline for over 30 years and continue to showcase the students' success and high-achieving pass rates.
