The OneOhio Recovery Foundation has announced $45.7 million in opioid settlement grant funding is available to support prevention, treatment and recovery efforts across Ohio.

State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) shared the news in a release on Thursday.

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is a private non-profit that was created to distribute 55% of the funds that Ohio will receive from the pharmaceutical industry as part of the settlement reached in the national opioid epidemic.

Regional Grant Cycle Two invites organizations across the state that work to address substance use disorders to prepare for the funding inquiry window and consider applying for funding.

The funding inquiry window opened on Tuesday, January 14, and will be open until February 11, 2026.

"These opioid settlement dollars are being invested responsibly to support local communities and strengthen recovery efforts where they're needed most," said Rep. Robb Blasdel.

The newest funding cycle aims to build on the momentum of the first funding cycle, which distributed over $45 million to more than 240 projects throughout the state. These projects included youth prevention, treatment expansion, post-overdose outreach and more.

Organizations interested in completing a funding inquiry can do so here

Furthermore, a Regional Grant Cycle Two toolkit can be found on the OneOhio Recovery Foundation website, which includes a guide on how to submit a request for proposal (RFP) and which organizations would be eligible to receive funding.
