Hubbard Township trustee receives 'Something Good' Initiative recognition

A Hubbard Township trustee has been named as a recipient of Trumbull County's Planning Commission's 'Something Good' Initiative.
According to a release, William Colleta (pictured in the center of the image above) was one of three recipients selected for the January 2026 Something Good Initiative.
The Something Good Initiative spotlights those who exemplify leadership and make positive contributions to their communities.
Trustee Colleta earned the recognition for his decades-long work in public service, leadership and dedication to improving Hubbard Township.
His career includes 43 years with Ohio Edison, taking office as a township trustee in 2022 and has been a youth soccer, baseball and basketball coach within the Hubbard area for over two decades.
Additionally, two other trustees were honored alongside Colleta, including Warren Township Trustee Kay Anderson and Johnston Township Trustee Dominic Marchese.
Though Trustee Anderson and Trustee Marchese were not able to attend January's meeting, the Planning Commission formally acknowledged the lasting contributions the two made to their communities and to Trumbull County.
Trustee Anderson has been with Warren Township for nearly 30 years, playing a key role in township projects such as park upgrades and strengthening public safety operations, the release states.
Additionally, the release states Dominic Marchese, a Johnston trustee of over two decades, is a respected advocate for farmland protection and sustainable agriculture, and champions rural preservation and environmental stewardship.
