Man missing from Campbell since January 7 now found safe

CAMPBELL - Police in Campbell were searching for a man who had been missing from the city since last week.
According to a police report, 41-year-old Jonathan Sopko (pictured above) had been missing since 10 p.m. on January 7. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and glasses.
Now, as of January 19, the Campbell Police Department confirmed with 21 News that contact has been made with Sopko and he has been located safely.
Sopko's brother told police that he was supposed to be delivering packages for Veho in the Cleveland and Akron areas. Police say Sopko's brother tried to reach him several times, but could not reach him. Another family member told 21 News that Sopko had lost control of his car and ended up partially in a ditch near Cleveland Metro Parks, due to weather conditions.
According to a police report, Sopko was arrested by the South Euclid Police Department on Saturday, January 10, and taken to the Cleveland Heights Hospital by the South Euclid Fire Department. The hospital told police that Sopko had since been released from the hospital, but his whereabouts were unknown.
