YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell will be holding his very first "5 Minutes with the Mayor" session on Thursday, January 22.

The session will take place at 6 p.m. on the first floor of Youngstown City Hall, and will offer residents the opportunity to let their voices be heard on issues important to them in the city.

All residents must sign in, and they will be given five minutes to speak with McDowell and share their thoughts, ideas, concerns, solutions and the challenges they are experiencing within the city.

"Our people simply want to be properly heard and helped. Many just want the opportunity to share how they can make Youngstown better, and I'm here for it," McDowell said in a Facebook post announcing the event.
