YOUNGSTOWN - Jury deliberations will continue into next week in the case of two men accused in a Youngstown murder.

Deliberations began on Friday, January 16, in the case of 35-year-old Kenneth Carter and 23-year-old Terry Hopkins, who are accused in the murder case of 42-year-old Ryan Graham.

Graham was found to have died of several gunshot wounds in a home on Griselda Avenue back in January of 2025. Carter was arrested shortly after the shooting, while Hopkins turned himself in to police days later.

Both men are charged with murder with a firearm specification, and Carter is facing additional charges of possession of cocaine and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle.

The trial has been delayed several times since the two suspects were indicted in April of 2025. Both men filed motions to dismiss the case, but those requests were denied in December.

The jury will continue deliberations on the morning of Tuesday, January 20, after a verdict was not reached on Friday.
