Ohio - A new program announced by Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel aims to help those seeking employment with personalized support.

WorkOhio offers resources and support from teams of regional job experts, including one-on-one sessions.

The program can be used as a starting point for those looking for new job opportunities that align with their experience and goals. It offers guidance no matter what stage of life or where a person is at in their career.

"Starting a job search might seem overwhelming. But with WorkOhio, we will make it easier for Ohioans to discover all the opportunities available in their area by connecting them with a team of people ready to help them reach their full potential," said Lt. Governor Tressel.

Through the WorkOhio website, Ohioans can pick where they live or where they desire to work and submit a form to connect them with a job expert in their area.

WorkOhio is a free program and does not require a login.

"As companies continue investing in Ohio, Ohioans have more chances to grow their careers where they live. WorkOhio makes it easier for people to build new skills and advance their livelihoods," said J.P. Nauseef, the president and CEO of JobsOhio.
