ALLIANCE, Ohio - Drivers taking I-76 through Portage County near Alliance will need to take an alternate route on Monday morning.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT's) OHGO website, all lanes on I-76 are closed beginning just after Exit 43 onto State Route 14. Drivers are being detoured off of Exit 43.

Dispatchers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol's (OSHP's) Portage County post tell 21 News multiple crashes have been reported in the area. There is no word on any injuries at this time.

Dispatchers say the crashes are due to the winter weather conditions.
