YOUNGSTOWN - Mahoning Valley Crime Stoppers, who has served the Mahoning Valley for more than 40 years, has expanded to become Crime Stoppers of Eastern Ohio.

Now in addition to the greater Youngstown area, Crime Stoppers will expand its coverage across all of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties, as well as Ashtabula County.

To celebrate the expansion, Crime Stoppers will be hosting its first major public event to raise funds for the initiative.

Crime Stoppers will host "Murder at the Grand," a murder-mystery gala dinner and fundraiser at the Grand Resort in Warren on Saturday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are $85 per person or $150 per couple.

Crime Stoppers is a civilian-run non-profit organization that aims to solve crimes through anonymous tips, offering cash rewards for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of a suspect.

The money raised at this event will go directly to those cash rewards.
