Parking bans around the Valley

Mahoning Valley - Multiple Mahoning Valley Communities are implementing parking bans in preparation for winter weather conditions this weekend. The parking bans are needed to allow for road crews to remove the snow from roads.

MAHONING COUNTY
- Poland Township is implementing a parking ban on all township roads from Saturday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. until Tuesday, January 27, at 7:00 a.m. If a vehicle is found parked on the street within these times, the owner will be contacted and asked to remove the car from the street.
- Poland Village is implementing a parking ban from Saturday, January 24 at 7 p.m. until Tuesday, January 27 at 7 a.m.
- Canfield Township has issued a parking ban for roads within the township from Saturday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. until Tuesday, January 27, at 7:00 a.m.
- The City of Canfield has issued a parking ban from Saturday, January 24, at 4 p.m. through Tuesday, January 27, at noon.
- The city of Struthers has a parking ban beginning noon on Saturday, January 24 through Tuesday, January 27 at noon
- Austintown Township has a parking ban set to start Friday January 23 at midnight through Tuesday, January 27 at 11:59 pm.
- Village of Sebring will implement a parking ban from Saturday, January 24 at 8 a.m. to Tuesday, January 27 at 8 a.m.
- City of Campbell has a parking ban beginning at 11 p.m. Saturday through Monday at 3 p.m.
- Village of New Middletown will implement a parking ban from Saturday, January 24 at noon to Monday, January 26 at noon.
- Milton Township will implement a snow emergency parking ban on Saturday, January 24, at noon until Monday, January 26, at 9 p.m. Vehicles in violation will be towed.
- Boardman Township will implement a parking ban beginning at noon on Saturday, January 24, through Wednesday, January 28, at 7 a.m. Vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
- The city of Girard is implementing an emergency parking ban from Saturday, January 24, at noon until Tuesday, January 27, at 9 p.m. Any cars found parked on the street within the specified time frame will be towed.
- The city of Niles is implementing an emergency parking ban from Saturday, January 24, at noon until Tuesday, January 27, at noon. This ban may be extended if conditions warrant. All vehicles parked on city streets during the ban will be towed.
- Bazetta Township has issued a parking ban on all township roads from Sunday, January 25, at noon until Monday, February 2, at noon. Vehicles found within the time frame can be given a warning and/or towed from the street.
- The village of McDonald will implement a parking ban from Saturday, January 24, at 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, January 27, at 5:00 p.m. All vehicles parked in the street during the ban will be towed.
- The city of Cortland will implement a parking ban beginning Saturday January 24 at 7:00 p.m. until Monday January 26, at 4:00 p.m. All vehicles parked on the street during the ban will be cited and towed.
- The village of Newton Falls has issued a parking ban starting Saturday January 24 at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday January 27 at 10:00 a.m.
- Liberty Township will implement a parking ban beginning at midnight on Saturday, January 24 until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 26.
- The City of Hubbard will implement a parking ban beginning at noon on Saturday, January 24 until 6 p.m. on Monday, January 26.
- Brookfield Township will implement a parking ban beginning at 5 p.m on Saturday, January 24, until noon on Monday, January 26.
- Warren Township will implement a parking ban beginning Saturday, January 24 at 5 p.m. until Monday, January 26 at 5 p.m.
- Weathersfield Township will implement a parking ban beginning Saturday, January 24, at 4 p.m. until Tuesday, January 27, at 4 p.m.
- The City of Cortland will implement a parking ban beginning Saturday, January 24 at 7 p.m. until Monday, January 26 at 4 p.m.
COLUMBIANA COUNTY
- The City of Columbiana will implement a parking ban on all city streets from Sunday, January 25, at 5:30 a.m. to Monday, January 26, at 7 a.m.
- The Village of East Palestine will implement a parking ban on all streets besides Market Street, Taggart Street and Main Street from 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, through 8 a.m. on Monday, January 26. A parking ban will be implemented on Market Street, Taggard Street and Main Street beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday until Monday at 8 a.m. Both parking bans are subject to extension.
- The city of Salem will have a parking ban in place from 4 p.m. Saturday until further notice. Also, Salem City Hall will be closed on Monday.
- The village of Wellsville will implement a parking ban on Main Street only from Sunday, January 25, at 6 p.m. to Monday, January 26, at 6 p.m. All vehicles parked on Main Street during this time will be towed. The village is also asking any vehicles on Broadway or Commerce Street to park on side streets if possible.
- The Village of Lisbon will implement a parking ban on all village streets beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, through Tuesday, January 27, at 7 a.m.
- The Village of Washingtonville will implement a parking ban beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, through Monday, January 26, at 6 p.m.
MERCER COUNTY
- The Borough of Greenville will implement a parking ban from Saturday, January 24, at 7 p.m. until Monday, January 26, at noon.
