YOUNGSTOWN - The Stambaugh Youth Concert Band (SYCB) is welcoming the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony (CYWS) to the Mahoning Valley in February.

SYCB features young musicians in grades 9 through 12 from Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, who rehearse weekly and perform concerts at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The CYWS includes talented woodwind, brass and percussion students from around the region and performs at the Cleveland Severance Music Center.

SYCB previously performed an ensemble with CYWS at the Northeast Ohio Band Invitational in January 2025.

The invitational concert will be held on Sunday, February 1, at 2:30 p.m. in the Stambaugh Auditorium Concert Hall, located at 1000 5th Avenue in Youngstown.
