BEAVER TWP., Ohio -  Drivers coming from Pennsylvania along the Ohio Turnpike may have encountered slow traffic this morning.

A two-vehicle accident was reported shortly before 6:30 a.m. Thursday, along the westbound lanes, just past the Interstate 680 interchange.

The crash involved a semi-tractor-trailer and a car. The back end of a BMW was heavily damaged.

A rescue squad from Beaver Township was called to the scene.  At least one person was hospitalized. 21 News is working to find out if the injuries are serious.
