Wedgewood Pizza location offering 'take-and-bake' pizzas
Ahead of an incoming winter storm, a Wedgewood Pizza location is offering "take-and-bake" pizza kits.
Wedgewood Pizza in Austintown, located at 1622 South Raccoon Road, is offering pizzas that residents can call ahead and pre-order to take home and cook.
Each kit includes pre-cooked dough, sauce and a variety pack of topping choices.
Owner Filomena Riccioni says that there is no wrong way to put your pizza together at home.
"The rules are, there are no rules. If anybody tells you [there are] rules to pizza, there's not - to food either," said Riccioni.
Prices were shared on the pizza shop's Facebook page, including:
- $2 for an eight-inch pizza
- $4 for a 12-inch pizza
- $6 for a 16-inch pizza
Additional toppings will cost extra.
Riccioni says that the "take-and-bake" kits will be available to purchase past the storm season.
"Have fun with it," said Riccioni.
The location will be open until 10 p.m. on Saturday and will reopen again to customers on Tuesday, January 27.
