Youngstown offers live snowplow tracker, urges residents to stay home

The City of Youngstown can expect to see snow plows beginning their routes at 10 p.m on Saturday, with the city asking residents to give the plow trucks room by not passing or crowding near the snow removal vehicles, according to a Facebook post.
The post also states the Youngstown Street Department will use a number of contractors to begin clearing side streets, once they are accessible.
A live look at the plows' locations can be found online.
Earlier Saturday, the city imposed a parking ban set to begin on Sunday at 1 a.m. The ban prohibits parking on all streets or alleys having a width of 25 feet or less. Any vehicle in violation of this could be towed at the owner's expense.
The City of Youngstown advises residents to stay home until the storm passes and roads are cleared.
