Youngstown State University will return to normal campus operations on Tuesday despite a forecast for sub-zero temperatures, according to a YSU Penguin Alert on Monday.

"The safety of our students, faculty, and staff will continue to be our top priority," the alert states. "There is a high degree of certainty in the forecast for sub-zero temperatures and winds creating extremely low wind chills. Please dress accordingly, limit time outdoors, and stay safe."

The alert also asks students to monitor YSU email communications with professors regarding any changes to individual class schedules.
