COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - Due to winter weather conditions, an extension has been added for Columbiana County residents to purchase a dog license.

The last day to buy a 2026 dog license for Columbiana County is on Wednesday, February 4.

The cost varies depending on the duration needed for the license. A one-year license costs $12, a three-year license costs $36 and a permanent license costs $120.

It is recommended to purchase the license online or by mail. A convenience fee will be assessed for online purchases.

Additionally, licenses can be bought in person at the county auditor's office, the county's dog pound, or at one of the auditor's satellite providers, which are listed on its website.

Three-year and permanent licenses can only be purchased online, by mail, or at the auditor's office.

Penalty charges will begin on Thursday, February 5.
