YOUNGSTOWN - The City of Youngstown has lifted its snow emergency and citywide parking ban as of 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The snow emergency had been in effect since 1 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, in preparation for Winter Storm Fern, which the city says brought one of the heaviest snowfalls it has experienced in decades.
City officials are still advising drivers to exercise caution on the city's roadways, as snow crews are still actively removing plowed snow. The roads may remain slippery during extreme cold.
