Youngstown Blue Coats, a nonprofit organization received a donation from a Boardman insurance company to help provide essential items to those experiencing homelessness.

The Agent Insurance Services announced the company's donation of $1,110, made possible through The Agent's Referral Rewards Program.

For every referral a client made, the company donated funds directly to Youngstown Blue Coats.

"Their support allows us to give back to organizations like Youngstown Blue Coats that are doing important work for our neighbors -- especially our veterans," said Ron Nanosky, the founder and owner of The Agent Insurance Services.

 The Referral Rewards Program started in 2021 and has since donated more than $8,000 to Valley organizations.

The donation to Youngstown Blue Coats will help give cold-weather items such as coats, gloves, sleeping bags and more to individuals and veterans experiencing homelessness.
