Warren man pleads guilty in child sexual abuse material case

WARREN - A Warren man has pled guilty to multiple charges in a child sexual abuse material case on Thursday.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 48-year-old Timothy Turner of Warren pled guilty to five second-degree felony counts, including four counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
The charges stem from a cyber tip received by the Cuyahoga County task force on internet crimes against children in August of 2024, which revealed child sexual abuse material on Turner's electronic devices.
No sentencing date has been set for Turner yet, but he will be declared a Tier 2 sex offender at sentencing and must register with the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office twice per year for 25 years.
In the meantime, Turner's bond was revoked, and he will be held in the Trumbull County Jail until his sentencing date.
