Youngstown State University quarterback and Walter Payton Award winner Beau Brungard was at the Eastwood Mall for a meet and greet.

Brungard met with fans, signed autographs and took pictures at the event. 

Back in January, Brungard became the first YSU player to win the prestigious Walter Payton award.

Brungard threw for over 3,000 yards and rushed for more than 1,400 yards last season and 53 total touchdowns. 

When asked about all of the fan support Brungard said, "IT really just SHOWS HOW MUCH THIS FOOTBALL TEAM MEANS TO THIS CITY AND BEING ABLE TO BRING THIS AWARD HOME BRINGS NEW LIFE TO STAMBAUGH STADIUM, HOPEFULLY."
