Some slight relief from the frigid air after the weekend

A pair of days in the teens will highlight this weekend's forecast, before some slight improvement next week.
Saturday features plenty of clouds with flurries around from time to time, thanks to an area of low pressure aloft over the Great Lakes. Temperatures will only find their way to the mid to upper teens, with temperatures falling back to around zero degrees Sunday morning.
Sunday will quickly turn mostly sunny, but any sunshine will be ineffective with high temperatures only making it to the upper teens.
The 20s never sounded so good, and they will be a nice reprieve from high temperatures in the teens.
20-degree high temperatures will be the theme all next week, ranging throughout the 20s each day. Only low-end chances for snow are in the forecast Monday night into Tuesday morning, but better chances for snow come later in the week.
We are keeping a close eye on trends for another batch of snow that would arrive late Thursday night into the day on Friday.
At this point, our trend of colder-than-average days will stay with us until after Valentine's Day.
