Youngstown firefighters were called out into single-digit temperatures to put out a house fire on the city’s South Side early Monday.
The thermometer registered only one degree at around 1 a.m., when flames were reported at a home on East Judson Avenue.
The first crew on the scene reported smoke coming from the house's roof.
Firefighters contained flames to the roof, and no injuries were reported.
Investigators tell 21 News it appears the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
