The first full week of February will be quiet overall, and while it won’t be warm by any means, we’ll see some improvement in the temperature department.

High temperatures will rise to the low to mid 20s with plenty of clouds around into Monday afternoon. A few flurries will be around before the end of the day, but flurries will pick up in coverage around and after sunset tonight.

A few flurries will be possible overnight as temperatures sink back to the upper teens just after midnight and hold steady through sunrise on Tuesday. Flurries will be around from time to time on Tuesday, with plenty of cloud cover and high temperatures slightly warmer than Monday, reaching the upper 20s Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday will be slightly cooler, but very quiet, with high temperatures in the low 20s each day.

Our only impactful weather of the week will come on Friday, with snow trending widespread throughout a good part of the day on Friday, with accumulations likely. At the moment, it is too early to talk about specific snowfall totals, but this snow event won’t be our highest this winter season by any means, and you might just need a shovel to clear any snowfall accumulation when it's all said and done.
