SHARON The Sharon Police Department responded to a residence Saturday after a body was found outside. 

The body was discovered around 3 p.m. on the front porch of a building at the 800 block of Wengler Avenue.

Police Chief Edward Stabile stated that the department believes the victim died of exposure due to the extreme cold temperatures.

No foul play is suspected, according to Stabile. 

Stabile also stated that the Mercer County Coroner's Office was contacted at the scene and is currently working to determine an official cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
