Secretary of State candidate Allison Russo files petiton, signatures

Ohio Secretary of State candidate Allison Russo announced in a news release on Monday, February 2, that she has filed her petition and signatures.
Her petition included support from voters in 71 of Ohio's 88 counties and five times the number of signatures required to file.
"I am so grateful for the groundswell of support we have seen from Ohioans for my campaign for Secretary of State," said Russo.
Russo continued," Filing this petition is just the beginning. Now it's in the hands of Ohio voters to choose common-sense solutions, free and fair elections and leaders like me, who will fight to move our state forward. We are going to take our state back, together."
State Representative Allison Russo, who currently serves Ohio's House District 7, has served four terms.
In that time, the release states that she has previously served as House Minority Leader for the Ohio House Democratic Caucus and had served as a Ranking Member on the House Health Committee.
