Mahoning County GOP announces planned State Rep. candidate filing Tuesday

The Mahoning County Republican Party announced in a news release on Monday, February 2, that Heather Fronk will be officially filing to run for an Ohio State Representative seat.
Heather Fronk is expected to officially file her candidacy bid to run as the Republican candidate for Ohio's 58th State Representative District on Tuesday at the Mahoning County Board of Elections.
According to the release, Fronk's campaign will focus on "expanding economic opportunity, empowering working families and strengthening" communities in the region.
"Heather Fronk represents the kind of leadership this district needs - rooted in service, practical experience and a commitment to the people she represents," said Republican Chairman Tom McCabe.
McCabe continued," We are excited to support her as she takes this important step forward."
Currently, the 58th State Representative District seat is occupied by State Rep. Lauren McNally.
