One person was taken to a hospital after an early morning traffic accident on Interstate 80 in Austintown.

Dispatchers got a call at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday about a collision involving a car and a semi-tractor trailer along the westbound lanes of interstate near the Meander Reservoir bridge.

One person from a Chrysler 300 was taken to a hospital with injuries that the Highway Patrol said are not serious.  The truck driver wasn’t injured.

The patrol is still investigating.
