YOUNGSTOWN - Fire crews were on the scene of a house fire on Kimmel Street in Youngstown Tuesday night. The home is vacant according to the Youngstown Fire Department and the scene has cleared as of 11:30 p.m.

Crews on the scene told 21 News that they will be letting the structure burn until it hits the basement of the house. Firefighters also told 21 News that they had a difficult time locating a nearby fire hydrant due to the snow coverage on the ground.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
