Sebring staff packed, distributed meals to families during snow days

SEBRING, Ohio - While schools across the Valley were closed due to winter weather last week, district staff and administration from Sebring Local Schools prepared meal kits for local families in need.
Staff members joined together at Beatrice L. Miller Elementary School to prepare 40 meal kits, distributed to families throughout the district. Families received the meal kits through a pick-up line or had them delivered to their door by administration. A total of 112 students were served.
Sebring Superintendent, Tony Viscounte said in a statement that he was proud to see staff and administrators step up to help Sebring families in need of food assistance.
"Our village always comes together and our staff and administrators are a reflection of that sense of support. We routinely seek ways to provide support to our families before, during, and after school," said Viscounte.
