Judge Hanni seeking reelection to the Court of Appeals

After three years serving the Seventh District Court of Appeals, Judge Mark Hanni (R) has filed for reelection.
In a press release, Hanni said during his time on the bench "the Seventh District Court of Appeals has made unbelievable strides in productivity." The judge added that he is "quite proud" of the court's improvements over the years and hopes to continue the change.
"To make our productivity improvements a permanent part of the Seventh District Court of Appeals, I have decided that I need at least three additional years in office to accomplish that goal in order to mentor new Judges and staff coming in," Hanni stated.
He added that he is seeking reelection in order to be retained for those three additional years.
"The policies and procedures I have implemented to achieve this success must become second nature to the Court so that we are never last in the state again," Hanni said in a statement.
The Seventh District Court of Appeals is made up of a panel of four judges, across eight Ohio counties, including Mahoning and Columbiana.
