The home of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers will have a new name following a partnership with 7 17 Credit Union.

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers announced that Eastwood Field will be renamed "Credit Union Field at Eastwood" as part of their continued partnership with the credit union.

The Scrappers union president tells 21 News that the financial commitment will help the organization with ballpark improvements and keep concession and ticket prices low.

This is the second baseball team that 7 17 has partnered with. The credit union also partnered with the Akron RubberDucks to have their ballpark renamed "7 17 Credit Union Park."

The stadium name change will go into effect at the start of the 2026 season, with the first home game set to take place June 2.
