LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. - New Castle Police are on the scene of a vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 168 and Union Valley Road, according to the Lawrence County 911 Center. A 21 News crew at the scene observed large salt trucks blocking either end of the road as officers continue to investigate.

Drivers in the area are being asked by police to avoid the stretch for the time being.

It is unclear what caused the crash and if anyone was injured.
