The Lisbon Water Department will be repairing a leak near the intersection of South Beaver Street and West Washington Street on Friday. Mayor Peter Wilson announced that the work will cause a brief water outage for residents in the area.

The affected areas will include: S. Beaver Str between West Washington Street and Maple St; West Washington Street between South Market Street and Graham Street. Outages will begin around 8:00 a.m. on Friday and end at 4:00 p.m.

When water services are restored, there will be a boil advisory in place for the affected areas, the mayor added.
