GIRARD, Ohio - Dentists from the Mahoning Valley spent the day giving back to the community with their annual Give Kids a Smile event.

"We always want to give back," Dr. Paul Bertolasio said. "I mean every dentist I know, they're usually some of the most caring people that go out of their way to take care of others, especially those who don't have the means. And of course as a parent, my favorite way to give back is to children."

Bertolasio and his team added that the event offers an opportunity to give kids a smile to be proud of plus help boost their confidence and self-esteem.

This is the dental team's second event of the year, with care already having been provided in Mahoning County to kids in need.
