The Missouri Valley Football Conference will lose one its most dominant members.

North Dakota State finalized an agreement to join the Mountain West Conference in football starting in 2026, according to ESPN.

The school will pay around $12 million to join the conference, in addition to the $5 million it will pay the NCAA to move to the FBS.

Youngstown State was scheduled to play NDSU at home on Saturday, October 31 and now will need to find a replacement.

The Bison have been a powerhouse in FCS, winning 10 of the past 15 national championships.
